Thomas O'Keefe

Thomas O’Keefe was born and raised in East Sacramento. A graduate of the University of Santa Clara, Thomas worked as an insurance company executive and generously volunteered his time to the Saint Vincent De Paul Society and the Clarksburg Food Bank.

Known as “Buddy” or “Uncle Bud”, Thomas was a family man who enjoyed traveling, golf, skiing, backpacking, and camping. He was known for his humor and storytelling, and he loved being around people.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and May (Stone) O'Keefe, and sisters, Theresa O'Keefe, Anne Johnson and Joan Knego. (He was the last one standing.)

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joan, his three children: Kevin O'Keefe (Lisa), Kristine Vance (Mitchell) and Mark O'Keefe (Sharick), and his grandchildren: Alexia Vance, Ryan Vance, Sarah O'Keefe, Ashley Thorn (Maxwell), Harrisan Smyser, Holden Smyser, Jack Mettam, Gared Mettam Gregory Dettner and Garret Dettner.
