Theodore Martin Flores

Born on November 9, 1933, Theodore "Ted" Martin Flores; beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather aged 92, passed way after a long illness on August 29, 2026. He was surrounded by his loved ones when he passed.

Ted is survived by his sons Ron (Jackie) of Galt, CA; Martin (Christie) of San Jose and Ted of Sacramento; his grandchildren (Angel, Aaron, Janelle, Jenna, and Giana); great grandchildren (Zack, Holly, Isaac, Leinani, Jaylynn, Ripley, Peyton, Taylor, Kiera and Jordan); great great grandchild (Enzo) and nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Ted spent his formative years in Pueblo, Colorado. After high school Ted joined the Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. Professionally Ted was a parts manager at many large trucking companies such as Kenworth, Peterbilt, FB Hart, and lastly Wantz Equipment Company Inc. in West Sacramento.

After retirement Ted enjoyed keeping active. He volunteered at Saint Anthony’s as an usher, at Meals on Wheels cafe at the Pannell Community Center in South Sacramento; joined a walking group at the Pannell Center; joined two Manitos groups one in Midtown Sacramento at the Hart Center and one at the Pannell Center. In lieu of flowers, please consider volunteering in your local community.

Services for Theodore “Ted” Flores will be at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church 660 Florin Road on 9/17, 10:30 AM Rosary and 11:00 AM Mass. Burial will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on 9/18 at 10:15 AM.
