It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Reymundo Vasquez, who passed away at the age of 55. Reymundo was born on January 7, 1970, in Sacramento, CA, to Renella Vasquez and Frederick Joseph Tarin. Reymundo grew up in Sacramento until 1990, when he moved to and settled in Woodland, CA, where he met and married Dana Jackson. Together, they blessed the world with five incredible daughters before parting ways in 2003. Reymundo, a skilled and dedicated laborer, approached every task with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. Reymundo worked at Cal Trans, where he'll be remembered as always being a team player and lending a helping hand. His coworkers at Metal Sales would say, 'His laughter could brighten any stressful day!' Reymundo is survived by his mother, Renella Vasquez, brother, Juno Vasquez, sister, Mariceala Arauza Senna, sister, Mireya Arauza, daughters, Katrina Vasquez, Alicia Vasquez, Selena Hudson, Breanna Vasquez, Reyna Vasquez, and 10 grandchildren! Reymundo loved music; he would spend many hours after work and on weekends pulling records out of his massive record collection, spinning, blasting, and mixing music for fun on his DJ equipment. We will never forget his kind heart! His warm hugs provided comfort to us; his smile and humor were contagious! He could keep us chuckling till we cried! May he rest in God's loving care! His laughter will forever linger in our hearts! Oh, and just for HIM, during football season..... Go, Raiders!
