Mark Arlyn Denham

With our deepest sadness, we are announcing the passing of our Father, Mark Arlyn Denham, on the morning of April 20, 2026. He had just turned 81 yrs old, on April 8, 1945. He was born and grew up in San Jose, CA.

He is survived by his wife Mei Wo Denham and his children: Eric Leong, 64, Alex Leong, 62 (Russian Orthodox Priest - Hawaii), Michelle Curtis, 57, Mark Jr Denham, 53, Janice Mei Camacho, 48.

Mark’s grandchildren include John Leong, Jennifer Leong, Julie Leong

Peter Leong, Paul Leong and Joanna Leong, Sarah Curtis and Noah Curtis and then Matthew Denham and Luke Denham and finally Marissa Camacho, Amber Fair and Jordyn Mei Camacho.

Our father was always so helpful with life’s challenges and was never afraid to help. Always took care of his wife, children and grandchildren, lovingly and without question. He never judged anyone, but always supported when needed. His stories made us laugh so hard, as well as created his own stories to continue making us laugh for centuries to come. He will not be forgotten. He’s now in Heaven with so many of our loved ones.

Our father was a light in our lives , cheerful in spirit, kind in heart, and so often moving through the world with a simple, unguarded innocence that was purely his own. His laughter had a way of easing heavy moments, and his goodness could be felt in the smallest gestures. He was not a perfect man, but he was a deeply lovable one, and that is how we will always remember him: with warmth, with tenderness, and with gratitude for the joy he brought into our lives. Though he is gone from our sight, the love he gave and the light he carried will stay with us forever.
