June M Saenz

In the early morning, June Mercedes Saenz passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023. She is survived by her daughters Sharilyn Leyva, Valerie Fajardo and their families including eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and her longtime partner Ronald ("Dutch") Miller. June was preceded in death by her sons Marc and Gary Saenz and six brothers and sisters.

June worked for over fifty years with the majority of her time in the field of law as a paralegal. After retirement she maintained an interest and independence for keeping an active mind.

June was the youngest of the Jaramillo family who were devoted to one another, fun-loving, and with a penchant to laugh and celebrate. She will forever be remembered for her infectious passion for jazz music, dancing, and joy for life. Beyond her love for music and dance she was a devoted matriarch who cherished her family above all else and will forever be remembered in their hearts.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, November 30 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 1066 26th Street Sacramento, CA 95816. She will be laid to rest at the Old City Cemetery.
