Gestina "Tina" Wilson, 66, of Sacramento and Rancho Cordova, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026.
Born on March 23, 1960, in Fresno, Tina was the beloved daughter of Chester Wilson and Ocilee Miller. She grew up in Fresno, where she attended Irwin Jr. High School and proudly served as a member of the student body government. She later attended Fresno High School, where she enjoyed playing basketball and building lifelong friendships.
To know Tina was truly to love her. She was a beautiful, kind-hearted woman who was always willing to help anyone in need — whether through words of encouragement, a warm meal, or a place to stay. Tina had a joyful spirit and loved to laugh, joke, and live in the moment. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone around her.
Tina enjoyed playing Bingo, listening to music, dancing, and, as a young girl, sewing. She was deeply spiritual and grounded in her faith, which guided her throughout her life and relationships. She was also an active member of a Women’s Empowerment Group in her community, where she continued uplifting and inspiring others.
Above all else, Tina cherished her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
She is lovingly, survived by her children: Rickie Allen Glenn Jr. and his wife, Cianna Leatherwood-Glenn; Lakeisha Nicole Glenn; and Ronde Marquise Jenkins.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kenadie Nicole Glenn, Jaxson Alexander Carmical, and Carter James Marquis Carmical.
Tina also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory. Special thanks and consideration are given to Kathy Oguinn and Brenda Garner for their support, love, and care during this difficult time.
Her loving spirit, infectious laughter, and compassionate heart will never be forgotten. Tina’s legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.
