Donald E. Moffitt

Donald (Donnie) Moffitt was born on May 11, 1947 and resided at 3761 Jefferey Avenue in Sacramento California most all of his life. He was 77 years old when he lost his battle with kidney disease on March 7, 2025. 

His parents were Donald & Melita (Millie) Moffitt. Donnie also had a sister named Sharon (Moffitt) Guy. Donnie & Sharon were both adopted by Donald & Milita Moffitt at very early ages.

When Donnie & Sharon were growing up their parents were very involved with the Salvation Army church. They would attend church often.

Donald worked for United States Postmaster for some time. Then he started working with the State of California in the printing department for approximately 20 years after that before retiring.

Donald kept to himself most of the time. He really enjoyed his TV, you would always find him watching the news (CNN) and or some sports.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and sister. His father Donald Moffitt in 1991 and mother Melita in 2002 and then his sister Sharon in 2015.

Donald will be lad to rest on Friday, May 9, 2025 at noon at Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery in Sacramento, CA.
