Dale Everett Black was called to the next life on October 4th, 2025 at the age of 65. Dale was born on May 14, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the youngest son of William Everett Black and Irene Sprague Black. Dale is survived by two sisters, Sheila Black and Sandie Hilsabeck of Las Vegas, and two brothers William H. Black of Peoria, Arizona, and John M. Black of Littleton, Colorado.
Dale was born and raised in the Las Vegas area and graduated from Rancho High School in 1978. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University Of Nevada — Las Vegas (UNLV) and held multiple positions as a computer technician and systems administrator for local hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. He also worked in real estate for a short time.
Dale served as a missionary in Indiana for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 1979-1981. After returning home, he continued his education at community college and university.
As a young man, Dale was a natural athlete and loved to participate in most sports including softball, basketball, and football. But, his real passion was bowling. He started bowling at an early age and became quite skilled in this sport. He bowled in many leagues and tournaments with great success. As an adult, his bowling average was consistently over 200.
Dale had a great sense of humor and possessed a gift for making people laugh. He made friends easily.
Dale was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
