Born on 6/29/1920 to Perry and Marie Shaw in Akron, Ohio and passed away peacefully in her home on 4/1/2016 surrounded by loved ones.

Amy Louise graduated from the University of Akron with a Master’s in Business. She proudly served our country in World War II in the US Navy from 1943-1946. In 1947, she moved to California and began her long career as a legal secretary. In 1968, she married W.P. Dwyer, Jr., and he preceded her in death in 1985. She had no children but was a mentor to many, sharing freely her knowledge and wisdom. Private services were previously held.
